Story: Chinese crime drama in which a released prisoner seeks vengeance on those who imprisoned him. While a 15-year-old, Zhang Shuai is charged with robbery. Desperate to give her son a fighting chance, his mother sells one of her kidneys in order to bribe the judge's lawyer, hoping for a lighter sentence. The lawyer, however, absconds with the money, leaving Zhang Shuai to spend three years in jail. When, on his release, he discovers that his mother has died, he sets off to track down those he holds responsible and exact his revenge.
